What is SmartPad?
SmartPad is a WiFi-based wireless gamepad app that transforms your Android smartphone into a fully functional game controller and RC remote — no Bluetooth dongle, no USB cable, no expensive hardware required.
It connects to your PC or RC project over your local WiFi network using raw sockets, giving you ultra-low latency control with a familiar console-style button layout — complete with dual joysticks, shoulder buttons, ABXY buttons, and a D-pad.
Whether you want to play GTA V from your couch, control a drone, or send commands to your Arduino robot, SmartPad handles it all from one clean interface.

How to Use SmartPad with GTA V
SmartPad comes with a custom GTA V script that maps all the gamepad buttons to in-game controls. Follow these steps to set it up:
Install SmartPad on your Android phone
Download it from the Indus App Store using the link below and install it on your phone.
Install Script Hook V & .NET Hook
Make sure you have Script Hook V and Script Hook V .NET installed in your GTA V folder. These are required to run custom scripts.
Paste the Script into the Scripts Folder
Copy new_game_pad.cs and paste it into the /scripts folder inside your GTA V installation directory.
Connect Phone & PC to Same WiFi
Make sure both your Android phone and your PC are on the same WiFi network. Open SmartPad, enter your PC's local IP address, and tap Connect.
Launch GTA V and Play!
Start GTA V (Story Mode). The script will automatically listen for SmartPad inputs. Your phone is now your gamepad — enjoy!
